The Breakheart Reservation is a state park, recreation area, and historic site in Saugus, Massachusetts. It is another rare natural treasure in the state, as it is located in the smack middle of the bustling Saugus.
Offering 640 acres of space, the Breakheart Reservation is available for recreation all year round. It may only be a day use park, but there are tons of things that can be enjoyed within the site. For one, its spectacular views of southern New Hampshire and central Massachusetts are breathtaking and its diverse natural features like its hardwood forest, fresh water lakes, and a section of the Saugus River shapes the park into an ideal outdoor destination.
